Between What is and What is to Come

Dear Friends, Loved Ones, and Supporters!

Here I am, 4 days from leaving for Japan. I haven't quite felt ready or prepared to go. This weekend will be my chance to tie up the loose ends, get ready and go. I just started the process of doing thank you letters to those who have been so incredibly generous in supporting me. I thank you so so much! We were supposed to raise $5200 by April 30th, and while I didn't raise it all by then, I raised $5900 by May 18th! The excess funds I raised will be able to go support my teammates who are having struggles raising the last amounts for their trip. This is so awesome because I was praying to raise in excess to support the team and that is exactly what happened.

This year has truly been the year of blessing. I've had my share of difficulties this year and other years, but never have I seen so many answered prayers and spiritual growth as the 2008-2009. From living at the Joshua House to leading Sons of Thunder, to deciding to go to Japan, to discipling Bergman, to sharing the gospel at the ultimate banquet, to the encouragement of the Last Blast, there has been so many things to be thankful for, and I've never felt so content. I believe wholeheartedly I am where I am supposed to be, and I'm going where God is leading.
